Get Your Group Fitness On
Adult Fit Athletics – These classes are geared toward adults of all fitness levels, whether you want to get into shape or you’re a collegiate or intramural athlete who wants to train for your sport. This class is 60 minutes of movement-based activity designed to actively challenge your effort and coordination. Unlike traditional gym-based workouts, this class is fun and fast-paced. At the end of the session, you’ll be asking yourself how the last 60 minutes just flew by!
Weekly classes – We have a variety of fun and challenging classes that vary throughout the season, so check our calendar to find out what is happening each day. Some of our classes include Sweatvibes, a dance-based workout that’s part party and part exercise. We also offer Zumba, a mix of samba, funk, salsa and reggaeton dances. If dance isn’t your cup of tea, we also have classes like Cardio Kick Butt, a kickboxing-based cardio class.
Weight training – Perform traditional weight training exercises one-on-one with a trainer or in a group setting to build muscle, strengthen bones, boost your metabolism and help you train for your sport (if that’s your goal).

Competitive Edge offers amazing indoor resources for teams who want to train, especially during winter when the weather doesn’t allow for outdoor training. Training as a team in our facilities gives you access to all the equipment you need, plenty of space, and studio time to review game footage and strategize. Teams who train together, save together, because we offer great money-saving packages designed just for teams.
We have a Track & Field program based on conditioning, mobility and flexibility training, strength and plyometric training, and specific event technique. Work on building track and field skills during the frigid winter months without bundling up.
We also offer Beginning Speed Classes for kids ages 4 to 6. These are intro-to-track classes for younger kids. These classes are a great way to turn kids’ natural desire to run into a lifelong love of running. If you homeschool your kids, these classes are a great way to get your P.E. in for the day!
Competitive Edge aims to develop the “complete athlete” using performance sports training in Woodbridge, VA and surrounding areas. Members are able to enhance their athletic performance and develop a competitive edge to excel in their desired sport.
