  •  My first experience playing baseball was in the Woodbridge Little League. Most of the fields that I played on in Woodbridge are no   longer around. I played all the way up to Majors and then started playing travel baseball for the Virginia Wave. I played one year of middle school baseball at Rippon Middle School
  •  Personal: I currently lived in Woodbridge VA, and have lived in Woodbridge since 1986. I have been married for almost 6 years and have 2 sons,Marquise,12, and Julius,6, who enjoy playing baseball themselves.

ALEX LEWIS / BASEBALL INSTRUCTOR

Named to the preseason All-Big South team by Perfect Game and also ranked the fifth best draft prospect in the conference by Perfect Game … capable of carrying the offense for stretches … played summer ball for the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks; was named Second-Team All-FCBL and an FCBL all-star.

Big South All-Conference Second Team and Big South Championship All-Tournament selections … named first team all-region (ABCA East) and all-state (VaSID) … started all 57 games played, 51 as designated hitter… set career highs in average, hits, runs, RBI, doubles, home runs, total bases, and walks … set the single-season school record and finished third in the Big South with 86 hits … finished in the top five in average and doubles … led the team in hits, extra-base hits, RBI, multi-hit games with 25, multi-RBI games with 12, and had a team-best 15-game hit streak, done twice in 2016 … ended the season on a 15-game hitting streak …went 10-for-18 at Big South Championship… during 15-game hitting streak from 3/13 to 4/9 hit .438 (28-for-64) with 15 RBI, 11 runs scored, and nine doubles during streak … hit walk-off double against Hofstra (3/13) …hit two home runs at Morehead State (3/9).
